Seaton Tennis Club is holding its 2014 Open Day this Saturday (April 5) from 10am through until 4pm, writes Belinda Bawden.

Adults also have a wide range of playing and coaching opportunities with club sessions seven times a week, Pay and Play and league team coaching and Cardio Tennis available. The annual summer tournament always culminates in a sociable but ferociously competitive Finals Day in July and other fun tournaments and social events are held throughout the year.

Neil Parish, MP for Tiverton and Honiton, will be joining the Mayor of Seaton, representatives from the Devon LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) and guests from local communities in watching demonstrations, joining in adult and junior coaching sessions, testing their serving strength with a speed machine and their fitness with Cardio Tennis and playing in a fun American doubles tournament.

Refreshments will be available and there will be raffle and competition prizes galore.
