Sidmouth and Ottery first eleven bag win in final away game of the season.

Mickey Bell scored twice as Sidmouth and Ottery made it three wins from the last four league outings, with a good all-round display at struggling Bude, in what was their final away game of the league campaign.

In a bright start SOHC were quickly onto the front foot and their early enterprise was awarded with Bell firing home a low drag flick off a short corner.

The home team responded well and levelled with a similar effort. The goal galvanised the hosts, but SOHC were soon back into their stride and, following an impressive passage of play with some crisp passing, regained the lead when Dan Devine forced the ball into the back of the goal after the original short corner routine had broken down.

After the break SOHC dominated throughout, limiting the opportunities for the hosts whilst creating more and more chances at the other end of the pitch.

Rick Robinson made it 3-1 following another well-worked short corner routine.

The home side were left with ten players after one of their number was shown a red card following a series of reckless challenges and SOHC took full advantage with Bell finishing what he started scoring the games fifth and final goal.

There was still time for more drama with SOHC goalkeeper Simon Baker picking up a yellow card inside the final five minutes.

SOHC bring the curtain down on another league campaign this weekend with the visit of high-flying North Devon.
