Sidmouth ladies played at home against Topsham Bowls Club in the National Topclub on Monday evening, writes Carol Smith.

This competition involved four disciplines, the four wood singles, the pairs, the triples and the rink (fours).

This is also a knockout competition and you need to win three of the four disciplines, or two with a better shot difference.

Sidmouth were good enough to secure success on three of the four disciplines and with the fourth discipline suffering a narrow defeat – the margin being four shots – it all represents a great effort by the team and we wish them lots of luck in the next round.
