Sidmouth and Padbrooke Park seniors both beat the other 5-1 – at home!

Archant

Sidmouth seniors met Padbrooke Park in a pair of matches over the course of two weeks, writes Chris Grubb.

The first meeting, played at Sidmouth, ended in a 5-1 home success, but the tables were turned a week later with the Mid Devon side recording a similar victory on their course.

An unusual feature of the two meetings was that, on both occasions, each team was unchanged!

What the scores did reflect is the significance of being the home side!

The only Sidmouth pairing to win both home and away were Colin Mitchell and Charles Brown.
