The Charles Stanley Monday stableford was a close affair, writes Chris Roberts.

With the top six players separated by just two shots it was all down to the back nine scores. Simon Knowles and Dave Bater both scored 37 points, but the victory went to Knowlesy with a 21 point back nine holes.

One shot back was Neil Holland and club captain Dave Pepperall both with 36 points dusty pinching it with 21 points on back nine to the captain’s 19. Duncan Taylor still leads the Eclectic and the birdie league tables
