Thomas fails to take advantage in Sidmouth Friday League.

The top three in the latest Sidmouth Jewellers Friday Stableford were the same trio who had held the top slots the previous week, only in a different order, writes John Johnson.

James Spiller was the winner with 38 points which also took him clear of John Jones at the top of the Friday league.

Graham Davies also carded 38 points to finish second whilst Jonathan Lee took third with 37.

Defending champion Mark Thomas would have gained ground in the Friday League, but he was sadly disqualified for signing for the wrong score.
