Wood and wire puppets will be bringing the entertainment to Uplyme at the weekend.
A Circle of Tales will be told by the PuppetCraft Theatre at 4pm, on Saturday, February 4, at Uplyme Village Hall.
It all started so long ago that it is impossible to remember when.
The story revolves around a woman, called Mazandaba, who sets out to search for stories, asking friendly and fierce animals if they could help, but none knew any stories, or even what stories were.
It is a myth from Africa, which is retold by Gcina Mhlophe with African and English language, wood and wire puppets.
This is a puppet show for the whole family, perfect for everyone from four years old.
With video projection and the sweet, sweet sounds of live music played on traditional instruments by a wonderful African musician.
A music workshop will take place before the show. Tickets cost £5 for children and concessions, £6 for adults and £19 for families (2+2). They are available from Uplyme PO or 01297 445050.
