Rehearsals are now well under way for the next production by Honiton Players Amateur Dramatic Society.

The group will be staging five performances of Charles Dickens’s classic story A Christmas Carol and is looking for a couple of extra stage hands for the production.

It will take place on Friday, December 14 (evening), Saturday, December 15 (matinee and evening), Sunday, December 16, (matinee and evening).

Duties will include opening and closing curtains and moving small pieces of furniture and props on and off stage.

The performances will take place at the Honiton Community College.

If you are interested, or would like further information, please contact Trevor Patch on 01404 42504

Tickets are now on sale at the Honiton Toy Shop at a cost of £6 for adults and £4 for children under 16 years old.

It is hoped that some of the junior members who have been attending the drama groups will also take part.
