The former Hair Studio shop at 61 Sidmouth High Street could be converted into a two-bedroom flat, if planning permission is granted.
Application 23/2075/PDM is asking to 'convert the two existing commercial units to a single dwelling (2 bedroom flat).
The applicants are also asking for a change of use from Commercial, Business and Service (Use Class E) to Dwellinghouses (Use Class C3).
The buildings around the new flat are a retail fashion shop to the north and Sidmouth Methodist Church entrance to the south. Due to the use and opening hours limitations, no adverse noise impact would be expected.
The application will be decided by a team of East Devon District Council planning officers, and then approved with conditions or refused.
