Sidmouth Hospice at Home's Tree of Light remembrance service will take place at the Parish Church on Sunday, December 10.
Anyone in the local community who has lost a loved one is welcome to come along.
The service provides a opportunity to come together and celebrate the lives of those who have passed away, in a caring and supportive environment.
The church will be open for quiet reflection from 3pm, with the service starting at 4.15pm. There will be carols, readings and poems, and a time for placing personal dedication cards or illuminated dedication baubles (available prior to the service) on the Tree of Light and lighting a candle to commemorate a loved one.
Following the service, festive refreshments will be served.
Sidmouth Hospice at Home Bereavement Team will be on hand to offer support. They hope the Tree of Light Service will be meaningful and personal to everyone attending.
To collect dedication cards to place on the Tree of Light or support the hospice’s Christmas Light Up a Life appeal in advance of the service, visit Sidmouth Hospice at Home’s Information Hub, 48 High Street, Sidmouth.
