On Thursday (March 7) Wolf Cubs Dexter and Jesse achieved the prestigious Chief Scout's Silver Award! This accolade, the highest honour a Cub can achieve.
The award required Dexter and Jesse to conquer seven challenge awards and six activity badges, showcasing their dedication and skills.
The proud moment unfolded in front of their pack, leaders, and beaming parents who couldn't be happier for these accomplished Cub Scouts.
At Scouts you can work your way up to completed Silver and then Gold Chief Scout award.
To be awarded this, the group had to complete over 100 tasks, including scout activities like walking, putting up tents, climbing, etc. 100 tasks had to be completed as well as any four activity Badges of your choice, in categories including: My adventure challenge awards, My outdoor adventure awards, Personal challenge award, My Skills Challenge Award and the Teamwork Challenge Award.
The Wolf Cubs are part of the 1st Sid Vale Scout Group, based at the scout centre on Salcombe Regis Road.
