Sidmouth Amateur Dramatic Society Ltd presents ‘Murdered to Death’ by Peter Gordon at the Manor Pavilion Theatre next week.

The play is a spoof of the Agatha Christie 'whodunnit' genre and introduces Inspector Pratt, a bungling detective, trying to solve the murder of the owner of Bagshot House.

'Joan Maple', played by Jill Coley, arrives at Bagshot House to visit her friend who unfortunately meets an untimely end just as she arrives. It soon becomes clear that the killer isn’t through, but can the incompetent Inspector Pratt, played by Ian Harbour, solve the mystery in time to save a life?

Nick Lawrence directs a stellar cast who have been hard at work rehearsing for the show.

The play opens on Tuesday, May 7 and runs until Saturday, May 11,  with evening performances starting at 7.30pm and the Saturday matinee starting at 2.30pm. Tickets are £14 for adults and £7 for under 16s, available via The Manor Pavilion Box Office. Call 01395 514413 or visit their website www.manorpavilion.com
