Ottery St Mary Under-18s kicked-off their league campaign with a 7-0 trouncing of Crediton United.
Finn Foster scored the opening goal with a neat finish on the rebound and the Otters were soon 2-0 ahead, Jack Drew-Cull providing the pass for Luke Paramore to continue his goalscoring form from pre-season.
Jake Haggerty joined the party with a stunning third, turning into space and unleashing a sensational strike into the top corner from long range. It was a fabulous goal and effectively confirmed the victory for Ottery.
Oliver Bradley steered number four past the beleaguered Crediton defence and it was 5-0 at half-time, Makan Coulibaly finishing off a pass from Louis Stephen. The Otters stepped off the gas after the break but still added two more goals. Coulibaly bagged his second with another tidy finish and he then completed his hat-trick with a first-time strike.
