In the North/East Division of the Devon Women’s Football League, Ottery St Mary continued their improvement with a 3 - 2 away win against Braunton Wanderers, who just missed out despite goals from Alison Rivans and Lucy Reed. Kaitlyn Carthew, Hollie Wills and Stacey Rogers were on target for the Otters.
Crediton United made it two wins out of two at home to Fremington. Cheyanne Coakley, Leanne Bailey and Erica Guppy each scored twice, with Chloe Hartley and Jas Hodge made it eight without reply.
At the other end of the table, RBL Alphington picked up their first point of the season, thanks to a goal from Chloe Walters, following a 1 - 1 draw with the students from the University of Exeter.
Biggest cheer of the weekend must go to Hunters District, who finally scored their first goals of the season, despite losing 19 - 3 to Lakeside Athletic.
