Sidmouth Town have scored an incredible 12 goals in two games, following up the thrilling 3-3 draw with Axminster on Saturday with a 9-2 demolition of Elmore on Wednesday night.
Will Jenkins and Nathan Cooper both bagged a brace and the rest of the goals were shared around between Ash Small, Danny Pym, Josh Wadham, Charlie Cox and an O.G. The Vikings host Holsworthy on the weekend and then another home game against Crediton on Tuesday.
The season is also looking brighter at Washbrook Meadows, where Ottery St Mary have moved up to sixth in the Devon Football League after securing their second league win of the season.
Nathan Hopkins notched a double and a stunning strike from Tony Cox proved enough to beat Thorverton 3-2 in a terrific encounter. The Otters travel to bottom club Topsham Town on Saturday and a chance to break into the top four.
