The Sid Valley Memory Café, a charity that helps carers and their loved ones who have all forms of memory problems, held its first street collection, since gaining charity status, on Saturday.
The members were bowled over by the generosity of the people of Sidmouth and the visitors to the town who were enjoying our first taste of summer. We raised a magnificent £590 which will help further develop the good work carried out by the volunteers who run the cafés every Wednesday from 2.15pm at Twyford House.
Thank you so much.
