All-weather pitch needs floodlights
MADAM - Here we are again at that time of year when frost or waterlogging make grass playing fields unuseable. Our rugby and soccer players are left with nowhere to train in the evenings yet we have a wonderful all weather pitch on the school site sitting idle

Surely it is time that floodlights were installed so that the facility can be used to its full capacity? Then our hundreds of rugby and soccer players of all ages would be able to train properly and our hockey players would no longer have to travel out of the town to practise.
This would be a very suitable scheme on which Mr Hughes could spend his Exeter Airport windfall for the benefit of the community.
