Whatever concerns I may have had prior to my visit to Staufen im Breisgau, Germany, the appalling damage done to the beautiful old buildings there convinced me that fracking is a very bad operation and I would not wish it to happen in East Devon (or anywhere for that matter).
I think about 200 buildings had been affected. Take a look on Staufen website.
