SIR - There seems to be an element around who want to change 'dear old Sidmouth'.We don't want a marina. I do agree that the eastern end of the seafront needs some tidying up, but, please, not to that extent, which will also bring the possibility of more drugs and crime into the area.I've known Sidmouth for more than 70 years, and have seen the destruction that has already taken place; we don't want any more!Joan MorrellWestern CourtBedford SquareSidmouth
