These, along with the feeling of the wind in your hair and the sun on your back, are the little things that are acknowledged and shared between those on the cycle path with a friendly nod, broad smile or cheery 'hello'.
Appreciative of the fact the Byes is a place everyone should enjoy together, everyone must stick to their side of the bargain.

I would like to express my utmost apologies and deepest sympathies to little girl I knocked down and all the trouble I caused her family, and thank the kind women that comforted me in my hysterical state.
As well as a way of trying to come to terms with the shock of it all, in writing this letter I hope to warn that a cycle path needs respect, and I need an obtrusive horn.
