Dog ban flouted

SIR - Re: Dogs on Sidmouth Beach. At 11.10 on June 17, we counted seven dogs (about four owners) flouting the dog ban on Sidmouth beach.

If this bye-law was actually enforced with the same rigour as penalties on parking in Sidmouth, the consequent fines would soon buy a school mini-bus, and all the other amenities which, it is claimed, cannot be afforded.
