MADAM - I am writing for the attention of all drivers in Sidmouth and the surrounding area, who feel it necessary to drive dangerously close to the back of my car whilst travelling.
MADAM - I am writing for the attention of all drivers in Sidmouth and the surrounding area, who feel it necessary to drive dangerously close to the back of my car whilst travelling. On several occasions recently while I have been driving, the car behind me has been so close to me that I couldn't even see their number plate in my mirror! These drivers, I may add, have been middle aged men and women, not youngsters. I am usually travelling with my six month old daughter in the back of my car and, should an animal or child run out in front of me, or any other event happen to force me to brake suddenly, the car behind would certainly crash into the back of my car and, therefore, my daughter. Please think about this the next time you are tailgating somebody, it is intimidation and it is dangerous! Driving that close to me will NOT make me go any faster, nor will it intimidate me to pull over, so PLEASE BACK OFF!
