Fire does not change site plan
SIR - Re: Fortfield Hotel
The fire at this hotel does not change the planning designation of this building. On the Town Plan it is listed as a designated Hotel.
The owners have tried before to slip ‘apartments’ past the planning officers.
The fire should make absolutely no difference to any planning application on this site.
It is a designated hotel site unless the town plan is formally changed.
