MADAM - We have recently spent a few days in Sidmouth. The residents of your lovely town are so fortunate to live in such a vibrant, beautiful place.
We stayed in a hotel opposite the superb Connaught Gardens so were able to walk into the town, as well as using the more than adequate car parks.
It is rather unusual to have such a wealth of friendly, independent shops in a town; nothing was too much trouble for the shop assistants.
Then there was the sea, the cliffs, the walks and all the nearby attractions, such as the Donkey Sanctuary, the Seaton Tramway and Otterton Mill. All open, even though it was late October.
We loved your town and will be returning.
