SIR - I am writing to say thank you very much to the wonderful lady from Sidford who was shopping at Waitrose and kindly came to my rescue on Tuesday, August 9.
The bus did not arrive and I would have been late for the Theatre in Sidmouth.
I am a visitor from Sweden studying at the International School.
The lady also helped a young fellow student on the way and was so generous and trusting and would not accept any payment.
I am very grateful for your thoughtfulness.
