MADAM - I would like to thank all those people who helped my friend when he fell over in the High Street on Friday, February 6.
I would particularly like to thank the shopkeepers who brought out a quilt and pillows and Alex Clare, who took off his coat and stood in his T-shirt in bitterly cold weather, to help him keep warm until the ambulance arrived.
I'm pleased to report that all was well after a thorough check-up at Sidmouth hospital.
