SIR - Further to the big play event down on the Ham, on April 15, may I just say a massive thank you to all the lovely people who took days off work to help with the event, everyone who baked cakes, helped put up marquees, made teas and coffees, face-painted (thank you Billie Jones) and all the children, parents and grandparents who came along and supported the event, even in torrential rain.
Can I also say a huge thank you to Southwest arts, The Co-op, Homehardwears, Bagwells fish shop and the Sidvale association for their wonderful help and donations?
It was a massive success, well done to everybody who took part!
