SIR - At the risk of extending the God debate ad nauseum, I wonder if anyone can help the doubters with the answer to one question.
Can somebody provide information of a reliable, historical and contemporary source for any record of the birth, life and death by crucifixion of Jesus? - Other than the New Testament, of course, or other religious writings based on a reference to the gospels.
