In response to Mr Jacobs (Poster Plea, letters, February 1), who claims to speak for Sidmouth residents, could I just say that personally I don’t mind something to read on bus stops while waiting for a bus, and quite enjoy seeing posters advertising upcoming community events.
As long as they are taken down when out of date or tatty, and not allowed to become rubbish, then what harm are they really doing? It’s hardly turning Sidmouth into a ghetto is it?
