Sir - I had an email from some friends in Nottingham this last week. They had picked up on the story about Mandy O’Donnell’s parking fine after she had to abandon her car because of the floods.
Their comments indicated that this sort of over-zealous action, not particularly by the warden who would not have known about her circumstances, but by who ever reviewed and disallowed her appeal, would not encourage them to visit the area. I have to agree with them.
