MADAM - I read with interest the article in the Sidmouth Herald with regard to the possibility of siting a gipsy/travellers site at Bowd, and note that the owner of the site expressed a positive interest.
MADAM - I read with interest the article in the Sidmouth Herald with regard to the possibility of siting a gipsy/travellers site at Bowd, and note that the owner of the site expressed a positive interest. Hardly surprising, as if this idea ever came to fruition, he would be "laughing all the way to the bank". However, I wonder if he had cause to reflect on memories of just such a site which he started , in what appeared to be a much more suitable setting , near Tipton St John a few years ago. This appeared to be a thriving enterprise with, I believe, children attending the local school. Is it possible that the same authority which ordered its removal is now contemplating this new and seemingly much less appropriate site at Bowd?
