SIR - Sid Valley Rotary Club would like to thank all those who helped with the annual Pancake Race in Old Fore Street last Tuesday: Mark Seward, Sidmouth Hotels for financial sponsorship, EDDC and police for traffic management and equipment loans, St John’s Ambulance, Sidmouth Herald for publicity and The Anchor Inn for the supply of pancakes.
We would also like to thank all those who took part and those who came to watch.
Once again, Sidmouth has demonstrated its generosity in supporting good causes and just over �280 will go to Rotary’s charity “Polio Plus” which is fighting to eradicate this terrible disease from the planet.
We hope to see everyone at the race again next year.
