SIR - Having read last week’s article in the Herald concerning the future of the Manor Pavilion, the many regular patrons of this unique gem can only but hope that, should the Sidmouth Town Council take control of the theatre, the councillors will be in no doubt of the importance it plays in the lives of so many, theatre-goers and performers alike.
As a regular patron, I am surely not alone in commending the theatre’s manager, Graham Whitlock, for his dedication and commitment which, coupled with his warm and helpful demeanour has done so much towards achieving the theatre’s turnaround and the reversal of its fortunes.
May we look forward to many more years with a thriving theatre of which East Devon can be justifiably proud?
