For over forty years I have been a theatre lighting designer, 22 years with the Royal Shakespeare Company, over the years visiting hundreds of theatres all over the world.
So it came as a joyous revelation to find the most well run and welcoming theatre I have ever had the good fortune to visit is in my own adopted town of Sidmouth.
The Manor Pavilion with Graham Whitlock and his staff is a jewel in East Devon’s many jeweled crown.
