Watching BBC Spotlight news recently, I think that the report was saying that the cuts imposed on the police would not affect the South West because the crime figures have gone down.
Now the police, I believe, do not log everything that they used to. Some of their previous responsibilities are farmed out to others. Surely, this will give less paperwork for the police and the appearance that the crime figures have gone down, wouldn’t it?
I, being a cyclist, am very pleased that there has been an improvement to the road from Temple Street to the town, but do not understand why the drains etc. are not raised to the road level
