SIR - Thank you, thank you, thank you, to all the generous volunteers who both collected and counted during this year’s Poppy Appeal. Many thanks too, to all the shops, hotels, pubs, clubs and nursing homes who took tins and boxes of Poppies for sale.
Last, but certainly not least, a massive thank you to all, both residents and visitors, who gave so generously. Thus far, we have banked �14,170 and we know that there are further donations to come – a record Poppy Appeal!
