Madam - On behalf of the Rotary Club of Sid Valley I would like to thank members of the public who made donations to Rotary charities at the recent Summer Fayre in Blackmore Gardens. The weather on August 16 was truly awful, with heavy rain falling for most of the day.
Despite this, a total of £430 was collected which, given the conditions, was truly exceptional. I should also like to reassure everybody that we will be back. Our next Summer Fayre will be held at the same venue on Saturday, July 25, 2009, hopefully in far drier conditions!
