MADAM - We are very fortunate in Sidmouth to have a great variety of shops catering for our every requirement, but the demise of Woolworths is going to leave a nasty hole in the middle of the High Street and it will now be extremely difficult to find anywhere in the town selling DVDs and CDs. Where will we go, other than out of town?
It is sad that after almost 100 years Woolworths is being forced to close but even sadder for the staff who face seeking alternative employment in these very difficult times.
