MADAM - There must be many like-minded folk in this area who also cannot understand the council's reasons for objecting to the new purchasers of Coastlands wanting to restore the now derelict building, to a family home.
Would the council members and the neighbours who are objecting, rather have a block of flats on that site? This is an historic building and now the purchasers want to return it to its former glory why not allow that to go ahead?
It certainly would be a vast improvement to the current sad looking building that it has become and greatly benefit the neighbourhood.
