Prompted by the Herald’s article on July 15, showing the judges from SW in Bloom, I’d like to say a big “thank you” to whoever planned and planted the two colourful flowerbeds at Sidford Cross.
They are the best I’ve seen in a long time, being crammed with flowers and having a cottage-garden feel.
A welcome difference to the usual “petunias and lobelias in formal rows” format.
