SIR - On Saturday, October 30, the Rotary Club of Sidmouth Organised a sponsored Swimathon, the proceeds of which are going to our Group to raise funds to maintain and run the Mini-bus which has so generously been given to us by so many Local People and Organisations.
I attended the event and it was so well-supported by people of all ages. Some appeared to be well under 10 and some very fit senior citizens. Over 130 took part and an awful lot of effort was put in by all involved. I personally felt very honoured that all those people were doing it for our Group’s benefit and I would like to convey my sincere thanks to them all and to all members of the Rotary Club and to everybody who sponsored the event. Thank you very, very much!
