SIR - It beggars belief that the local authorities should allow The Bedford Hotel to occupy a valuable parking space, in what is a very busy week, in order for them to provide seating for their roadside burger bar.
It smacks of allowing tacky greed at the expense of a public facility, to say nothing of “one law for the rich ... etc”.
