SIR - With reference to the proposed Connaught Gardens Bridge, I wonder whether Mr Wedderburn has done any research on how many people have been injured while crossing Peak Hill Road to go into Connaught Gardens or to Jacobs Ladder.
If so, I would be interested to know the answer. I, in fact, agree with your previous correspondent that the safety of the Alma Bridge is much more of a problem to Sidmouth.
Perhaps Mr Wedderburn, with his obvious talents, could turn his attention to this project
