MADAM - I am in complete sympathy with Jan Jones over the playing field. The council should do a U-turn, build the houses on land earmarked for the Community Hall and leave the field as a play area and hall.

The council should do a U-turn, build the houses on land earmarked for the Community Hall and leave the field as a play area and hall. As simple as that.
Secondly, I am sure it must be illegal to install a Zebra Crossing that is not finished. Surely the Highways Department has done so many crossings, they should know exactly what materials they need and it should be all available as a kit.
No excuses for the lack of flashing beacons, especially when school children's lives are at stake.
