Under the guidance of our Mayor Dobson, the Rotary Club volunteers did all they could to help.

My husband and I are elderly and handicapped. We are so grateful to the men who took all our sodden carpet tiles to the skip, in their own transport. EDDC had refused, proposing instead that we leave out six a week for the refuse collectors!

Thanks too to our neighbours and to strangers plucked off the street to help.
