Where is promised referendum?
Sir – Although we have heard less about Post Office closures recently, the problem is far from losing momentum. Our government and the European Union would have us standing in long queues at the few remaining Post Offices, like dumb, obedient sheep.
Sir - Although we have heard less about Post Office closures recently, the problem is far from losing momentum.
Our government and the European Union would have us standing in long queues at the few remaining Post Offices, like dumb, obedient sheep.
Doesn't it remind us of George Orwell's classic book Animal Farm?
It happened in Russia, and it could happen here. The "all powerful state". People are already talking about the "nanny state", but it will get worse if we don't put a stop to it.
The only political party entirely committed to stopping it is UKIP.
People are angry at what is going on. This is not democracy - we ought to be given our say in a referendum - after all, we were promised it.
