SIR - It seems about three years ago that we were first promised that the most dangerous stretch of the A3052 at Porch Cottages in Sidford would be widened. This will involve removal or resiting of a small and inconsequential listed garden wall. About a year ago it was reported in the Herald that agreement had been reached and that work would begin soon.
