Zebra crossing “inadequate”

With the summer season now well under way and the Folk Festival approaching, I think I speak for many motorists concerning the complete inadequacy of the pedestrian Zebra crossing in its present form between the Mocha Caf and the Promenade.

Clearly, there needs to be an upgrading to a Pelican system which would give motorists and pedestrians equal use, which should remedy the bias favouring pedestrians that pertains with the present arrangements.

I think I represent many motorists who must often find themselves frustrated with the current facility.
