FAIRCLOUGH. The family of the late DAVID ALAN FAIRCLOUGH would like to thank everyone who came to the Celebration of his life and to the refreshments afterwards. Thank you to the staff at the East Devon Crematorium, Potbury’s Funeral Service, Celebrant Zoe Wray and to the Grange Court Hotel, Rockbeare. David’s death was a shock to us all but as our Celebrant said ‘although his physical presence has now gone he still remains as long as he lives in our hearts and memories’. We will speak of him often. We will also fondly remember the neighbours and friends we have met, who looked out for him, visited, sent cards and shared their stories of David and his varied activities with us. Everyone has been so kind. The family are grateful for all the donations given to the Sid Vale Association and Crohn’s and Colitis UK in David’s memory.
