There were pyjamas, bed-times stories and plenty of laughs at a special fundraiser held by the Sidmouth guides.
Children had a whale of a time at a pyjama party which raised £50 for The Children’s Trust - a charity that helps young people with brain injuries.
Dressed to impress in their onesies, the 1st Sidmouth Guides attended the event last Thursday (October 4).
The evening was spent making cucumber sandwiches, ham pinwheels and chocolate fudge cake before they all enjoyed bedtime stories with each guide contributing towards the charity.
Any children, between 10 and 14 years old, who are interested in joining the guides are welcome. The club meets on Thursdays between 6.30 and 8.30pm. The older age group, 14 to 18-year-olds, meet on Mondays from 7.30pm until 9pm. The group is also looking for more adult volunteers. Visit firstsidmouthguides@gmail.com for more information.
